As we all know, paper towels come from trees.  And, trees are our best friends.  They suck up our carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen.  If they disappear…we disappear.  We should treat them like gold.  We should not waste even one tree.  Well, when we waste paper towels in the bathroom, we are wasting trees.  The solution is simple; let’s use less paper towels, rip off smaller pieces to dry our hands and save the planet!

Adults all over the world are stuggling to solve our energy problem.  We are running out of natural resources that we typically use for energy such as oil and gas.  Adults are looking at other energy sources that are more plentiful and renewable.  Some ideas are windmills, algea, waves, coal, water, solar, and nuclear power.  We hope that one (or more) of these ideas turn into something great; something that can make it so we all have energy forever.  But, until that happens, we think we should focus on using LESS energy…not wasting energy.  In this episode we are going to show you the importance of turning off the lights!

There is something really awesome about rock climbing!  It’s fun.  It’s great exercise.  It’s challenging.  It requires muscles, agility, and brains, all at the same time.  And…it’s fun!  (Did I already say that?)  So, in this episode, we are going to the Niagara Climbing Center to learn how to rock climb!

Paper is wasted every day. It is used and thrown out. But, usually only 50% of the paper is used. The backs are typically wasted. Paper is made from trees. Oxygen is also produced by trees. Without trees we won’t have paper and we won’t have oxygen. Which means that we won’t be able to draw…and we won’t be able to breath! The backs of paper can be used as scrap for “To Do” lists, games, notes, math problems, writing stories, making snowflakes, and many, many other things. Let’s save the planet by re-using paper!

Every kid should know how to juggle. It’s great for hand-eye coordination and it’s fun. And, being able to juggle can make a kid the center of attention in a positive way…it’s great for their self esteem. In this video, Mr. Al Green and Mr. Ryan Clutterbuck will show us all how to juggle.

Every kid needs to know how to spin a ball on his or her finger. It takes skill, it takes practice, and it’s fun. If you make the decision to spin a ball on your finger and practice enough to do it, you can do anything!
